Friendship House has been awarded the Silver Circle of Quality which signals that a program has gone through a rigorous self-assessment process and made the improvements indicated. In addition to
being IDCFS licensed, a program applying for the Silver Circle of Quality will need to show evidence of completion of required trainings, staff qualifications, and make improvements to meet
ExceleRate Illinois standards using an approved national accreditation process or the assessment path. Programs are also required to submit a Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQIP).
When the standards have been met for the Silver Circle of Quality and the Quality Specialist or state-approved assessor has verified scores, a program can apply for the Silver Circle of Quality.
Programs are awarded the Silver Circle of Quality for a period of 3 years.
Annual reports are required to maintain eligibility and need to include:
- License in good standing
- Current accreditation certificate if applicable
- Maintaining staff qualification requirements

Finding good quality child care is very hard to find. After interviewing sitters & visiting other centers, I decided to visit Friendship House. My son attended their summer camp
program which he loved & kept him busy!!
My daughters have been with Friendship House for 4 yrs now. We adore the staff, and love it here!!!
