Multipurpose Room

Our Multipurpose Room provides a flexible space that serves many purposes throughout the day. While it is home to our School Age Program before and after school, it transforms into an active learning and movement space for younger children when school-age children are attending school.

This spacious area gives children an opportunity to stay active and engaged when outdoor play isn't possible due to inclement weather or extreme temperatures. Teachers use the room in a variety of creative ways, including setting up obstacle courses, organizing ball games, leading music and movement activities, and utilizing our interactive Smart Board for fun and engaging large motor experiences.

The Multipurpose Room allows us to ensure children continue developing important physical, social, and coordination skills year-round. With the creativity of our teachers and the flexibility of the space, every visit offers exciting new opportunities for movement, exploration, and fun.
