At Friendship House, we love providing our preschool and pre-kindergarten children with special enrichment experiences that bring learning to life. Throughout the year, children in our 3's, 4's, and 5-year-old programs have opportunities to participate in a variety of exciting activities led by visiting specialists and community partners.
Dance
Children explore movement, rhythm, and creativity while learning new dance styles in a fun and engaging environment.
Stretch-n-Grow
This interactive fitness program encourages children to stay active through games, movement, and exercise while learning the importance of healthy habits and physical wellness.
Crystal Lake Public Library Visits
A librarian from the Crystal Lake Public Library visits Friendship House to share stories, songs, and literacy-based activities that inspire imagination, curiosity, and a lifelong love of
reading.
These special programs enhance our curriculum by providing unique learning opportunities that encourage creativity, physical development, literacy, and self-confidence. Most importantly, they add an extra layer of fun and excitement to our children's day!
